From the moment when fruit harvesting first begins, right up to client delivery, the fruit is subject to strict, company established quality control procedures, applying the working methods inherent in the numerous quality certifications held by the company (ISO 9001/2000, APPCC, BRC, IFS EUREPGAP NATURE’S CHOICE).
Fruit from various associated producers is sent to the facilities of FRUITSA, where reception quality control procedures are implemented, and where the fruit is labelled in order to guarantee product traceability.
Our facilities are fitted with the latest in cold storage equipment, in which the product is stored in line with the type of product and its characteristics. From here the product is transported to the conditioning line where it is selected and classified according to client specifications, with the aid of a modern hydraulic unloading-feeding system which avoids damage to the fruit. During this selection process the appropriate controls are established in order to guarantee the quality and traceability of the product in accordance with the pre-established working methods.
After automatic palletisation, the product is ready for delivery.
